My Stay Melbourne’s brand and website were developed as part of a broader strategy to increase direct bookings and reduce reliance on third party platforms. The goal was to create a strong visual identity and a seamless booking experience that would encourage guest loyalty and repeat stays.
The brandmark combines two iconic elements: the Melbourne tram and a travel suitcase. This pairing captures the spirit of local travel and the convenience of exploring the city. The colour palette, inspired by Melbourne’s vivid sunsets, adds vibrancy and warmth to the brand.
A responsive website was launched with an integrated booking system and exclusive guest discounts. This direct booking model was further supported by partnerships with brands such as Red Balloon and Viator. These collaborations enhanced the guest experience while also introducing a secondary revenue stream through local activity bookings.

A logo merging architectural line work with heritage motifs to honour the building’s rich history and convey its iconic status.
Hoddle Cornerstone
The logo subtly integrates “H” and “C” into an abstract “E,” symbolising the building’s eight-unit layout and exclusive design.
Flinders Landmark Suite
A circular highlight over a Melbourne CBD map emphasises the suite’s central location, with vibrant orange reflecting its bold interior palette.
For the better part of a decade, we have engaged a number of people and companies to develop the image for our holiday rental business. Each time they have struggled to understand our ideas, convert our vision and we have been left disappointed. That was until we met Sam.
Sam’s ability to understand and grasp our vision was profound. The concepts developed were of a level we had previously only imaged. The detail in the development of the concepts and his ability to communicate them were highly developed and went beyond even our grandest of dreams.
